Keeping an eye on your child's health

Important information
AthletiQ Health carries out sports science screenings and technical measurements. No medical examination takes place as part of the regular screening.
Conspicuous readings may require further medical clarification. An unremarkable screening is no guarantee of health or of unrestricted fitness for sport.
Screening and sports medical examination for children and teenagers
Is the screening a sports medical examination?
No. AthletiQ Health carries out sports science screenings and technical measurements. They do not replace a medical examination or a sports medical fitness assessment for children and teenagers.
So what is the screening for?
It gives parents and young athletes additional information about physical development: height and weight, movement analysis and, optionally, resting ECG, spirometry and a vitamin D test – straightforward and right at the sports club.
What happens if readings are conspicuous?
Conspicuous readings may require further medical clarification. On request, the medical measurement data and documents can be reviewed by cooperating physicians (optional medical review of documents).
Does an unremarkable screening mean my child is fit for sport?
No. An unremarkable screening is no guarantee of health or of unrestricted fitness for sport.
